Faasafety.gov contains the Safety Program Airmen Notification System, SPANS. Once registered, this web-based program will notify you of safety program events in your locality. Statistical data presents that those airmen that attend seminars, and become truly aviation safety aware, have reduced their risk of being involved in an accident or incident. Therefore, reduce your risk of an accident or an incident and become involved, attend the safety seminar series. Also, if you want to make an impact on other airmen, inquire of becoming an "Aviation Safety Counselor." Demonstrate your commitment to safety, and have your flying aviation enthusiasts register at faasafety.gov, and inform them that they have a responsibility to assist all of us to reduce aviation accidents and incidents. FAA SAFETY SEMINARS
Important notice: The Federal Aviation Administration has ended the practice of sending out postcards to inform pilots of upcoming safety seminars. The Teterboro FSDO is in the process of compiling an email mailing list so that safety seminar notices can be emailed. Click here to get the required form, then send it to the Teterboro FSDO.
